ICP partners with communities, grantmakers, organizations and practitioners interested in structural change in four ways:

1. As a resource for the philanthropic community to learn about structural change and how it applies to their work and the work of their grantees;
2. As a technical assistance provider to support communities in developing equal partnership with resource brokers for structural change at the community level.
3. As a trainer in structural change methodology for community practitioners, residents,funders, and other technical assistance providers.
4. As practitioner/researchers in the non-profit supporting the move for structural change.

ICP provides the following supports and services to the philanthropic community:

To this end we provide the following supports and services to foundations:
• Coaching, training and facilitation in structural change;
• assessment of readiness factors for structural change at the foundation level and for the issue in which the foundation is interested;
• assessment of a given community’s readiness for structural change;

Our model is designed to work with community to create the conditions to lift community power to create structural change. We provide coaching and training on a variety of topics including:
• structural assessment
• resident engagement and community organizing;
• collaborative development;
• model development and implementation;
• reflective learning and evaluation.
